Her father Yann has been kidnapped by the Great Troll who thinks Yann is responsible for the pollution that caused it to be injured and made the theft of its Eye possible.

The pollutions causes terrible damage to the earth and chases away the "Little People" of the moore at Kierlots, forcing these little spirits of the earth to flee.

Following the recommendations of Kirlam, a mysterious old man who lives beside the Kierlots castle ruins, Yzat and her friends embark on a dangerous quest in a World where time flows mutch faster than at home. They encounter the strangest of creatures, some of which are allies, some deadly enemies. Only thanks to Kirlams recommendations, his special potion and after convincing the four dwarfs of Hiscabor to help them, do they succeed in fending off the spells and threats launched against them. They need all the power of magical items crafted by the dwarfs, great courage and much wit to steal back the Eye from two mad witches whos plan it is to destroy mankinds sense of beauty.

Even if Yzat were to manage retrieving the Eye, she would still have to to find the dangerous Troll and manage to negotiate the return of her father, while the untrustworthy Slokier will do all he can to capture the amazing powers of the Eye for himself.
